NAM MY’S 2008-2009 YEAR END AWARD CEREMONY
NAM MY solemnly held its 2008-2009 year end award ceremony in the morning of May 23, 2009 at District 8’s Children Activities Center
In addition to teachers and students, distinguished guests were leaders of HCM City Department of Education and Training, Director Huynh Cong Minh, Vice Director Nguyen Van Ngai, Vice Director Nguyen Hoai Chuong, Head of Assessment and Quality Huynh Phu Bac
This is the fourth year of our school with following achievements
100% of junior students received good conduct, 81% of junior students achieved the good and very good academic performance, 100% of grade 9 students graduate from junior high school.
93,3% of senior students received good conduct, 53% of senior students achieved the good and very good academic performance, 40% of senior students achieved average academic performance.
This is also the second year that our students obtain the GED High school Diploma issued by the US State of Maine and number of GED recipients triples compared with last year. This achievement provides satisfacion, enthusiasm to teachers, students and students’parents as well.
Achievements in both Vietnamese and English Enrichment programs showed the great efforts of teachers and students of VAPS and proved that Vietnamese American Private School is a high quality international school.
